A complete renovation of a 4-bedroom coastal home into a Palm Springs–inspired holiday retreat. Mid-century style flows seamlessly throughout, with every area designed as a private haven, adding carefully curated items of art and furnishings to complement the client’s existing furniture collection. Smart home automation brings effortless control via iPad, while a new swimming pool and fully reimagined landscaping complete the sanctuary. Every detail, from hard to soft finishes, was thoughtfully curated by Rachel Dixon, creating a cohesive, luxurious escape the clients love to retreat to.

This project encompassed a complete interior design service from spatial planning and material selections through to final styling and decoration. Every element was thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive flow between architecture and interior detailing, ensuring that the home’s functionality and aesthetic were perfectly aligned. Hard finishes, custom joinery, and lighting were carefully balanced to enhance the home’s sense of comfort and refinement.
The resulting residence embodies a timeless transitional style with a subtle modern country influence.
